We, the current board of ASTUS, want to say thank you! Thank you for being part of the community. Thank you for helping to build up ASTUS, the urban studies study association. We are really grateful that so many motivated people have been willing to put energy and time into the formation of a community for Urban Studies students. We are still a very young and developing study association, therefore we are hoping our community will keep growing each year!

 

For this reason, we want to use this text to explain the structures we need to establish within ASTUS to  ensure that the association can be continued and grow sustainably.

 

With ASTUS we want to strengthen the community, organise events, guest lectures, parties, discussion groups, running dinners, field trips etc. Of course, all your ideas and suggestions are welcome! We will need your support in the form of energy, time and creativity. Moreover, we have introduced memberships with a fee of €12 per year to make the structure of the association clearer. That money will enable us to organise bigger events and small benefits like free drinks at events for our members. We are also working on discounts for members.
